Chapter 1 - Party Plan

In this story, Jane and Jake were at the beach playing building something with sand.

Jane:
"Hey Jake, how's it going with your sand castle?"
She asked her brother.
Jane:
"My sand castle isn't done yet.
She was struggling to build a sand castle.
Jake:
"My sand castle is nearly done. I have one more thing to put on is a flag on top of it."
Jane:
"You're really good at building sand castle Jake. Damn my sandcastle is pretty bad. Wait, I haven't started building my sand castle. Damn it!"
Jake:
Jake laughed and he liked Jane's compliment.
"Naw... thanks Jane. Jane, build something else instead a sand castle. Make something different."
Jane:
"Oh.. okay then. I build a bunny rabbit sculpture."
Jane started to build a bunny rabbit sculpture.

Jake:
"Oh Jane, did you plan anything about Dad's birthday party?"
Jane:
Jane stopped and she forgot to plan something for Dad's birthday party.
"No I forgot to plan anything for Dad's birthday party. I was busy doing my homework. But Mum told me she's shopping today to buy some party stuff."
Jane:
Jane finished her sculpture.
"Hey Jake, what do you think of my sculpture? Do you like it?"
She asked her brother.
Jake:
He turned around and looked at Jane's sculpture.
"It looks great Jane. I told you are great at building stuff with sand. Except you do not know how to build a sand castle."

Jane:
Jane smiled and giggled.
"Thanks Jake. So... yeah about Dad's birthday party. Who is invited?"

Jake:
"Mum's parents, Dad's parents and some few good friends in this town."
He answered.

Jane:
"That's great. Where will the party be at?"

Jake:
"At our place Jane. Everything is sorted. You do not have to worry anything"

Jane:
Suddenly, Jane saw Dad coming back to pick them up.
"Oh no, Dad is coming back. Okay I do not have to worry anything. Thank you for planning the party. You're really organised. Hehe. Okay let's be quiet now Jake."
John:
Finally, John came to pick up his kids.
"Hey kids, it's time to go now and it's getting dark here.
He saw her daughter playing with her video camera.
"Umm... Jane, what are you doing with that video camera?"
He asked to his daughter.

Jane:
Jane stopped testing with her video camera and then she turned to her Dad.
"Oh hey Dad, uhh.. I'm just testing my new video camera."

John:
"Oh okay, just don't break it."

Jane:
"I won't Dad. Anyway what were you doing back there?"
Jake stopped building his sand castle and Jane put her video camera down.

John:
"I was with my mates and they were saying happy birthday to me and they remember it's my birthday, but no one is making a special birthday party for me today."
John was depressed.

Jane:
Jane tried to think to answer Dad's question. "Everyone is busy today dad. There's no time to make a special birthday party for you dad. Just only you, Jake, Mum and I will have normal birthday party just for you."
John:
"You're right Jane, everyone is busy today in Sunset Valley and I'm glad you making a normal birthday party for me. I can't wait for it. But what is your mum doing at the shops. She's was shopping at the party location. She has quite a lot of stuff in the trolley. Is that for me?"
Jane:
Jane tried to think hard and trick him.
"Well... ummm... I think you are mistaken Dad. She wasn't shopping in the party location. She told me she's buying more food and drink for our fridge. We have lack of stuff in the fridge. Do we Jake?"
Jake looked at her sister.

Jake:
"Ohh... yes Jane. We have lack of stuff in the fridge. We need more food and drink. Not party stuff.
John:
"Oh okay then. I hope you are right."

Jane:
"Positive Dad, positive.. Oh by the way Dad. You better book a computer at the internet cafe. I bet you have quite a lot of Birthday notifications on your facebook profile."
Jane:
"This will take an hour to reply back each comment you have.

Jake:
"Ohh... yes Dad. This will take a long time. Good luck with it.
John:
"That's a good idea Jane. I better book a computer right away."
John grabbed his phone and dials the internet cafe.

Jake:
"Jane, you're a genius! This should keep away Dad from coming to his special birthday party.

Jake:
Jake had an idea.
"Hey Jane, I have an idea."
Jake went closer to Jane's ear.
"All of us except Dad will set up his birthday party not in a big rush and when we are finished. You go onto facebook and send a quick message to Dad to come home. What do you think Jane?"

Jane:
"That's a great idea. That's my new plan what you made for me! Thanks Jake. Jane smiled.

John:
"Hey, I would like to book a computer at 7:30pm today."
